Christopher Phillip possesses extensive expertise in the multi-family sector, spanning over 16 years, beginning his career in 2007 as a project manager for a multi-family general contractor. He has since progressed within several General Contracting groups, occupying key positions such as Production Manager, Lead Estimator, and Construction Manager. His most recent roles include Director of Pre-Construction for Cortland Partners in Atlanta, GA, and Vice President of Pre-Construction for DLP Capital in St. Augustine, FL.
Over the past eight years, Christopher gained considerable exposure to all facets of the multi-family space, including investments and operations, through performing physical site evaluations, financial underwriting, business plan development, construction project due diligence, deal assembly and budgeting, and technology integration and application. Christopher leverages this knowledge for Alita in his focus on the company’s acquisitions and asset-level business planning. Christopher resides in St. Augustine, FL with his wife, daughter, and son. Chris enjoys traveling, golfing, and reading.

Derek Wilson started in new construction development in 2011, working for Lifestyle Communities, a large regional vertically-integrated multi-family owner-operator in Columbus, OH. As the youngest Senior Project Manager in the firm, Derek successfully led the regional construction in Kentucky and Tennessee. Derek then moved to Cortland Partners as a Construction Manager. Through his work ethic and successful results, Derek was promoted numerous times, ultimately to Vice President of Construction. As VP, Derek was responsible for the production and financial performance of $750m of construction renovation.
Derek has received numerous career accolades including “Construction Manager of the Year” from his firm in 2013, and most recently Derek was highlighted as one of Business Insider’s 2020 Top 30 Rising Stars of Real Estate Executives. Throughout his construction career, Derek has had significant involvement in both the investments and operations functions, which were integral to the execution of each project. Derek utilizes this experience for Alita through his focus on asset management and the execution of asset-level, value-add programs. Derek resides in Columbus, OH, with his wife and two sons. Derek enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and The Ohio State Buckeyes.
